Jax

Jax is a 2-year-old Husky mix who is ready for his forever home! He was originally adopted in March 2025 but was returned to us due to his owner's lifestyle changes. Jax is a medium-energy, happy-go-lucky boy who loves to be active and involved in his family's life. He enjoys walks, playing fetch, and is particularly fond of balls. Jax is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash, making him a great adventure companion. He's also a smart cookie who already knows commands like "sit," "down," and "shake." Jax is good with other dogs and has done well with children. However, because he can get excited when meeting new people and sometimes jumps up to greet them, older children would be the best fit for him. He thrives on attention and activity. With consistent exercise and mental stimulation, Jax will make an excellent companion for an active family or individual. He has not been tested with cats.

Ideal Home

An active family or individual who can provide Jax with plenty of exercise, structure, and attention. Older children are preferred due to his enthusiastic greetings.

Ongoing Health

Jax is up to date on vaccinations and is neutered.

Training & Support

Jax is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on leash. He knows basic commands. He is still working on not jumping up when greeting people.

• Fill out the adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents.
• Approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email.
• You will have the opportunity for a meet and greet and a 5-day foster-to-adopt trial period.
• A home visit (in person or via Zoom) will be conducted after the adoption.
