Meet Gemma, a sweet and steady survivor who is ready for her forever home! This brave girl was found in La Cruz with a severe TVT tumor, but she fought through her illness and is now cancer-free, with just a small scar to show for her strength. Gemma is moderately active, enjoying leisurely strolls and basking in the sun. She gets along well with most dogs, often taking on a confident role, and lives peacefully with both male and female dogs. Gemma is full of quiet affection and deserves a loving family to appreciate her resilient spirit.

Ongoing Health

Gemma is cancer-free and will only require a simple cytology swab every 6 months for 2 years, as TVT rarely returns. Many survivors go on to live long, happy lives.

Transporation

Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. We arrange transportation for approved adopters to the US and Canada with the help of flight companions. During the summer months, if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable, dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border.
