Boone

Boone is a sweet, soulful boy with a big heart and an even bigger hope for a second chance at forever. He was adopted as a puppy from us but returned in January 2024 due to unforeseen circumstances. Boone is a truly one-in-a-million mix, with 28% Pitbull, 16% American Staffordshire Terrier, 15% Treeing Walker Coonhound, 8% Parsons Terrier, 5% Beagle, and 18 other breeds! He's intelligent, endlessly cuddly, and deeply attached to his people, making him your ultimate copilot for car rides and snuggles. Boone is partially housebroken and is described as sensitive, loyal, and loving.

Ideal Home

Boone thrives in a calm, predictable environment where he can build confidence and security. His perfect match would be someone who understands his sensitivities and celebrates his sweetness. He needs a home with dogs his size or smaller, as larger dogs intimidate him. Boone is also best suited for homes without young children, as loud voices and quick movements can scare him. He would do well with someone who works from home, is a homebody, or travels frequently and can take him along.

Boone is fully protected for the next 12 months with a ProHeart 12 injection (heartworm prevention) and a Bravecto Quantum injection (flea/tick prevention).

Training & Support

Boone is partially housebroken and will benefit from continued training to build his confidence and security. His adopter should be patient and understanding of his sensitive nature.
