About GEORGE (Very Sweet, Kind, Loves All She Meets, Dogs, Adults, Kids, Happy, Loving)

I'm George! I'm a 1-year-old, 50-pound Black Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier mix who's already neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on my shots. My sister, Joy, and I are looking for our forever families. We initially found ourselves in a park, drawn to the wonderful people we met there, and after a stint at the local pound, we were so fortunate to land in foster care. I got my name "Curious George" because I'm always interested in what's going on around me, while my sister got her name "Joy" because of her happy wiggles and tail wags. I'm a super happy, loving, and affectionate boy who loves to be involved in everything my humans are doing. I'm house-trained, crate-trained, a great passenger in the car, and generally a well-behaved pup. I'm doing well on leash and love to explore, whether it's a big adventure or a short stroll. I get along great with other dogs, don't bother the cat in my foster home, and have shown nothing but kindness to everyone I meet. I especially love children and people, which is what first drew me to the park! I really thrive on attention, affection, and companionship. I'll even sneak in some kisses when you bend down! My sister Joy and I have a special bond and would be an amazing pair to adopt together, though we're also confident enough to find happiness in separate homes.

Ideal Home

I'd love a family that appreciates life's simple pleasures, like camping trips, hiking, neighborhood walks, visiting coffee shops, or just snuggling on the couch after a fun day. I'm social, friendly, and always ready for the next adventure.

Ongoing Health

I'm all set with neutering, microchipping, and current vaccinations.

Training & Support

I'm house-trained, crate-trained, and a good boy in the car. I'm doing well on leash and am eager to please.
