Miko

Miko entered the foster system in July 2022, after being surrendered due to a cruelty case. He had been starved and injured, requiring amputation of his front right leg and months of rehabilitation. After a brief adoption that didn't work out, he's now in a loving foster home where he is thriving and ready for his forever family. Miko has a clear preference for ladies and can be initially uncomfortable around men, though he has shown progress with patience. He previously lived with children and enjoyed their company, and he gets along well with other dogs. Miko absolutely loves car rides and is a great co-pilot, though he prefers shorter walks. Being a tripod hasn't slowed him down, and he's a playful spirit who also enjoys lounging. He's independent, loves to claim the coziest spots, and enjoys giving affection. Miko is intelligent and eager to learn, though he can get a bit slobbery after drinking water.

A female-only household where Miko can feel comfortable and secure. He enjoys both play and lounging, making him a versatile companion.
