Dixie 11 lbs

Dixie is a sweet 11-pound purebred Havanese with a beautiful grey, cream, and tan coat. Born on June 27, 2021, she's a former breeder dog who has been retired and is now ready for her forever home. Dixie knows her name and walks beautifully on a leash. She's a quiet and chill girl who isn't hyper at all, preferring to be nosey and relax. She gets along wonderfully with cats, kids, and other dogs, especially enjoying the company of other dogs. She's also crate trained, doggy door trained, and good with grooming. While she can be a little shy at first, it doesn't last long – call her name, and she'll come running!

Ideal Home

Dixie would love a home where she can continue to be her quiet and chill self. Please ensure any upcoming vacations are completed before applying, as she is available to go to a new home anytime.

Ongoing Health

Dixie has been spayed and recently had dental work; her teeth are in good shape. She has tested negative for heartworm and has been treated with Frontline, given her rabies and parvo/distemper vaccinations, and is microchipped. All her vet paperwork will go with her.

Training & Support

Dixie is already crate trained and doggy door trained, and she's good for grooming. She is a little shy at first, but she responds well when her name is called.
