Meet Red, our longest resident and a true ray of sunshine! This smiley 4-year-old pittie mix has been with us since we rescued him and 15 other dogs from a rural Florida shelter after hurricanes Helene and Milton in 2024. After 1.5 years, Red is still patiently waiting for his forever home, but his spirit is as bright as ever! He's an energetic and affectionate boy with a zest for life that's contagious. Red is a fan favorite for doggy day outs and fostering, and he's fully housetrained. He's a ladies' man when it comes to dogs and people, preferring the company of females, but with slow and proper introductions, he can become friends with all. His adoption fee has been waived to help him finally find his happily ever after. Red is an easygoing, lovable goofball who promises a lifetime of love!

We are located in South Carolina and transport to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We provide local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
