Lottie Love Bug

Lottie is a dream boat in every sense, all wiggle booty, soft eyes, and a sweet little love-lean that immediately makes you feel like you would move mountains to make her happy. This girl arrived speaking "best friend" and had a whole crew of people fawning over her every move. Everything about her says gentle, affectionate, and an absolute joy to be around. She's estimated to be just over 3 years old and weighs a cool 42 lbs. Her curious nose and beautiful coat color paired with a thick little body frame make us believe she could be a Lab/Beagle mix – a very cute mystery mix!

Ideal Home

Lottie is a great fit for apartment living due to her quiet nature, small-ish size, and excellent leash manners. She's an affectionate companion who enjoys lounging and napping.

Ongoing Health

Lottie is up to date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. She has also had a heartworm test.

Training & Support

Lottie is house and crate trained and settles in easily. She walks well on a leash and is a sweet sidekick who adjusts beautifully to guidance. She is also polite and reads the room well with other dogs, and should do well with dog friends after slow, thoughtful introductions. Her curiosity with cats is promising and can be further assessed.

Transportation

Lottie is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
