Nomas

Nomas is a handsome boy who is as cute as he is clever! He's got a BIG personality and a whole lot of love to give. Nomas is an independent explorer who loves to meet new people, but he always stays close to his favorite humans and doggie pals. He enjoys giving and receiving affection, especially belly rubs, kisses, and hugs. Nomas is quite the conversationalist, "talking" when he plays, greeting you in the morning, or just when he has something to express. His unique vocalizations are often described as sounding like a human baby! Nomas approaches everything he does with passion.

Training & Support

Nomas is very food-motivated and responds well to training with treats. He understands a stern voice and will quickly stop if corrected. He knows "sit" and "gentle" in both English and Spanish. While he needs to go outside frequently, he can hold it overnight and prefers to do his business away from his living area. He doesn't quite grasp leash-walking yet but responds well to a whistle. He's still learning how to play with toys, preferring to engage in gentle "mouth fighting" with other dogs. He has not shown any destructive chewing behavior, but he is very focused on finding food.
