Meet Mia, a sweet girl who’s all about the simple things in life — soft pets, calm strolls, and cozy cuddle time. She is a senior, medium-sized female dog with a gentle and loving personality. Mia is easygoing and well-mannered, walking nicely on leash, taking treats gently, and happily leaning in for affection. She enjoys sniffing around the yard at her own pace and loves spending time with people, often resting her head in laps and hands for extra cuddles. Mia is currently at risk for euthanasia due to shelter overcapacity and has been in the shelter for over 60 days. She would benefit greatly from individualized attention with a foster, adopter, or rescue partner.

Mia seems to prefer a calmer environment and would likely do best with mellow dog friends who respect her space.
