SHEEVA

Meet Sheeva! This sweet girl may not be able to tell us where she came from, but she's making it very clear where she's headed: straight into someone's heart. Sheeva is a gentle terrier mix who arrived to us as a stray, so her story before rescue remains a mystery. She's already potty trained and knows how to walk on leash, and she's learning what fun it can be to play with toys! With time, she comes out of her shell and shows her fun, quirky personality. She walks great on leash, though can sometimes be a little fear reactive to other dogs. Like many dogs who've spent time on their own, she takes a little while to warm up to new people and places, so she'll need a patient adopter and a safe space to settle in. Sheeva doesn't bark at all and has great house manners (non-destructive, and knows how to relax inside). She's shown no separation anxiety when her people leave the house, she just curls up for a nap! If you're looking for a loyal companion who will grow and flourish alongside you, Sheeva might just be your girl.

Sheeva would do best in a home without young children or resident kitties. She'll need a patient adopter and a safe space to settle in.
