Izzie

Izzie is a 5-year-old, 50-pound Boxer mix with a remarkable story of love and resilience. Found under a porch with her puppies, she was rescued by children and has since lovingly helped care for many dogs. Now it’s her turn to be cherished.

Playful, affectionate, and people-loving, Izzie enjoys cuddles and attention. She is eager to please and would benefit from a puppy training class to polish her basic commands. She hopes for a forever family where she can relax indoors, play outdoors, and receive the love she has given to others.

Ideal Home

Izzie loves people and gets along with dogs. She would enjoy a family who will include her in daily life, offer cuddles, and provide opportunities for outdoor play.

Ongoing Health

Izzie is reported to be cured of Chagas and is negative for both Chagas and heartworm. Prior to adoption, the rescue provides age-appropriate vaccines, heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, spay/neuter surgery, and a microchip.

Training & Support

Izzie is eager to please and would benefit from a puppy training class to strengthen her basic commands. She is not currently house-trained.
