King is a 6-8 year old Lab mix with a fun, fluffy tail that makes him stand out! He's an energetic and active boy who rates a "10" for enthusiasm for life! King is playful, loves to run, and enjoys being active, but he's also sweet, quiet, and gentle. He's a well-rounded companion who is friendly with people, kids, and other dogs. King is not a high-maintenance dog; he's fairly self-sufficient, smart, and follows directions well. He's not a big barker, but he will alert you to anything unusual. While he enjoys meals and treats, King doesn't have a high food or prey drive. He's not overly affectionate, but when he nuzzles up to you, your heart will melt.

Ideal Home

King would thrive in an active home where he can enjoy regular activity and enrichment. He is looking for a family, whether it's one person or five, who is committed to showing him what a great life can be.

Ongoing Health

King was found hit by a car and has physical scars, but these do not impact his ability to live a full life. He is fully functioning and nothing holds him back.

Training & Support
