Big Mama

Meet Big Mama, a 3-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier mix with a heart full of affection and a spirit ready for adventure! She's athletic, loves going on walks, and is always excited to meet new people. Big Mama was found in a tough spot, but thanks to some kind individuals and our rescue efforts, she's now safe and ready to find her forever family. She might be a bit of a goofball, sometimes unaware of her own size when she gets the zoomies, but her playful energy is contagious!

Ideal Home

Big Mama would thrive in a home that can match her zest for life. She gets along well with most dogs, particularly medium to large male dogs, and can be a bit assertive with female dogs, so a home with only male dogs would be ideal. While she enjoys canine companionship, she's also perfectly happy being the sole canine in the household. Given her energy and occasional exuberance, a home without young children would be best.

Ongoing Health

Big Mama came to us a bit overweight, but she's now at a healthier weight. She's a strong and healthy girl ready for her next chapter!

Training & Support

Big Mama is already potty and crate trained. She's a smart cookie who knows "sit" and "shake," and she's a pro on the leash. Her main needs are a loving family who can appreciate her playful spirit and guide her with consistent positive reinforcement.

Transportation

Big Mama is currently located just outside of Houston, TX. We offer transport to approved adopters.
