Papi Chulo De La Calle

Papi Chulo De La Calle is a handsome and easygoing gentleman with a quiet confidence that will surely win you over. He's estimated to be around 3 years old and is a handsome American Pit Bull Terrier mix, though as a rescue, his breed and age are our best guess. Papi is a well-mannered, medium-energy dog with excellent social skills with other dogs, lovely house manners, and an overall easygoing nature. He's not one to demand the spotlight, preferring to calmly observe and enjoy his surroundings. Papi is crate-trained, trustworthy in the home, rides well in the car, and walks nicely on leash. He may take a moment to warm up to new people, but once he's comfortable, his sweet and easygoing personality shines through.

Ideal Home

Papi would love a home with a yard to stretch his legs. He can live with other respectful dogs or be the sole canine companion. He is not a good fit for a home with cats.

Ongoing Health

Papi is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes vaccinations, deworming, heartworm testing, and preventative. He is also microchipped.

Training & Support

Papi is crate-trained and has excellent house manners. He walks nicely on leash with gentle guidance.

Transporation

Papi is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport is available to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A surcharge of $87 applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
