She starts her outings with plenty of pep, then settles into a sweet rhythm of exploring, sniffing, and checking in. She walks with manageable enthusiasm, knows "sit," and takes treats with the gentlest little nibble. Once she feels comfortable, Darcy’s affectionate side shines. She’ll hop into your lap, lean in for pets, or sit beside you on a bench to quietly watch the world. She enjoys one-on-one time, loves a good rope toy, and often goes potty as soon as she gets outside. Volunteers describe her as energetic, endearing, and full of personality, with adorable crossed ears and soft grunts when she’s happy.
