Azreal Blue is a handsome and energetic Staffordshire Terrier Mix who was rescued from the streets as an 8-month-old pup. He found a loving home for 10 months, but sadly, a change in living situations led him to our care. Despite being the sweetest, friendliest, and most cuddly pup, his pit bull features meant he had to leave his previous home. Now, Azreal is having a blast in his foster home, enjoying playtime with his foster siblings. He has a wide smile and large ears that perfectly show off his happy nature. He loves getting attention and is always ready for a game of fetch or a good scratch.
Ideal Home
Azreal is a very athletic dog with a high energy level. He would thrive in a home ready for endless running and playing. He loves to play with other dogs, but he's still learning his manners and can be a bit much for shyer pups. Due to his boisterous play style, he needs slow, supervised introductions to any new canine companions. He has had supervised interactions with cats and is very interested in them, but he's working on behaving appropriately around them. Azreal has not been tested with children, and due to his high energy, a home without cats or small dogs might be best. He would love a canine playmate of similar energy and size. He also doesn't like to be left alone and wants to be involved in whatever you're doing.
Ongoing Health
Azreal Blue is up-to-date on all his shots, was neutered on March 19, 2025, is heartworm negative, and is microchipped.
Training & Support
Azreal knows how to "Sit" and "Crate." He is house-trained and crate-trained. He is still working on many things, so a patient and consistent adopter will be key to his continued success.
