Chunk is a 5-year-old, 60-pound bully mix with a big personality and a lot of love to give. He's a bit of a slow burn, not one for immediate affection, but once he trusts you, he's committed for life. Chunk is looking for a quiet, homebody human companion who appreciates his laid-back nature and silly antics. He previously had a canine buddy and enjoyed their slow and steady acclimation, but he is now seeking a home without other pets. Chunk is a sweet, loving, and extroverted boy with people, especially when snacks are involved. He's low maintenance, quiet once settled, and enjoys multiple daily naps, snuggles, and sunbathing. He's also crate-trained, house-trained, sleeps through the night, and is a gentleman with baths and even tolerates being dressed up by his human foster sisters. Chunk has no history of aggression with people, even during vet visits and nail trims. He's physically healthy and enjoys keeping his teeth clean with dental chews. Chunk is a unique, resilient, and comical companion who will bring joy and laughter into your life.
Ideal Home
Chunk would thrive in a home without cats or other dogs. He needs "hermit-ish" humans who are homebodies and can provide a stable, loving environment. A crate is a must, as it's his safe space.
Ongoing Health
Chunk is physically healthy. He enjoys dental chews and sticks to keep his teeth clean.
Training & Support
Chunk is crate-trained, house-trained, and sleeps through the night. He is a gentleman with baths and tolerates being dressed up. He can be a bit "foolish" on walks and doesn't enjoy car rides, so patience and understanding will be key as he acclimates.
