About Ned
Hi, I'm Ned! I'm a handsome boy with a coat that looks black but shines brown in the sun, and I have adorable white toes. My grumpy expression is softened by my distinguished white chin hairs, giving me a little goatee. I came all the way from New Mexico with my siblings, Dusty and Lucky, as part of "The Three Amigos!" I'm generally potty-trained, but I might have an accident if I can't hold it, so it's important to watch for my signals. I think surviving a six-hour car ride is quite an accomplishment! Sleeping in bed with my foster mom is a must for me, and I'd love to continue this cozy habit in my forever home. I know "sit," "off," and "come," and I'm working on "down," "stay," and "wait." I think training classes would be a fantastic way for us to bond! I love chasing anything that rolls, playing tug-of-war with unstuffed toys, and going on treat hunts. While I was a bit naughty when I first arrived, I'm learning fast and figuring out how to be a great boy. I still like to explore high surfaces, but I'm getting better at understanding "off." I'm a world-class snuggler and can cuddle anytime, anywhere! My bark doesn't match my size; it sounds a bit squeaky, especially when I'm scared. I love wrestling and playing with dogs of all sizes, playfully showing off my "mean teeth" and gums, which my foster mom calls "Jaws." Another nickname I have is "Snuffles" because I eat from a Snuffle Mat to slow down my eating and drinking. I'm not a fan of the cold, but I do look quite dapper in cute coats. I promise to try my best to be "Nifty Ned" instead of "Naughty Ned"! I have a 10-year-old human foster sister who adores me, and I'm friendly with her friends too. I might bark and jump a little when meeting new people, but I'm trying to show them I'm a good boy. I haven't met any cats, but I'd probably try to say hello. I get along with my resident foster dogs, though I'm a bit submissive and can get picked on by the bigger dogs. I really need another dog in my forever home; I look to my foster brother for comfort and warmth, and I need a canine companion to lay on, cuddle with, and wrestle. I'm not meant to be an only dog. I try very hard to be sweet, and I really want to make my forever family happy by playing, cuddling, learning, and enjoying yummy treats. I promise to listen and make good choices if my family will love and teach me.
Ideal Home
My dream day involves no time in a kennel, lots of food and treats, sofa snuggles, walks, and playtime. I'm most like Daffy Duck – sassy and a bit looney! I love playing all day, and what makes my tail wag the hardest is when someone wants to hold me. I'm looking for a family that has time to spend with me. While kennel time during the workday is okay, I'd love playtime, walks, and training when you're home. Sleeping in bed with you is a must, and I absolutely love being on the sofa! I have a lot of potential and love to give, and I'll make my forever family very happy.

Training & Support
I'm working on "down," "stay," and "wait." I still tend to explore high surfaces but am learning to understand "off." I can be a bit barky and jumpy when meeting new people. I need a patient family to help me continue learning and growing.
