Hello, I'm Pop! I have super soft fur and cute white markings on my nose. I am SO happy all the time and love to snuggle! I came from New Mexico with my brother and sister when I was very little. I'm potty trained and will let you know when I need to go out by laying by the door. I'm also kennel trained, though I admit I don't love it. I'm trustworthy enough to be left out on my own and I don't destroy things – I usually just sleep! At night, I love to sleep as close to my foster mom as possible. I know "sit," "stay," "wait," and "off," and I'm working on "come." I'm obsessed with food; peanut butter and yogurt are my favorites! I wait for the "okay" command before eating and I'm getting much better at taking treats gently.
I live with a fabulous 10-year-old foster sister and have met her friends. I'm super good with her but tend to bark at her friends initially. I'm not sure about very young children as they can move too fast for me at first, but after about 10 minutes, I calm down and enjoy giving them licks. I haven't met any cats, but I LOVE other dogs! I'm my slightly younger foster brother's emotional support dog, and he needs to be beside me at all times. I love to play with my big foster sister who is almost two and 55 lbs. We play tug, keep away, and chase every day. My big foster brother, who is almost four and 96 lbs., tolerates my playful poking. My favorite activities with other dogs include wrestling, zoomies, and tug-of-war. I also love neighborhood walks.
I am smart and love to learn new things! I want to be friends with everyone and just need a little time to warm up. I love to snuggle and be loved on, and I'm eager for adventures and exploration, making me a great hiking buddy and travel companion. My biggest wish is to be with my people, have a dog friend, and live the best life possible!
Ideal Home
My dream family would have older kids, another dog, and an active lifestyle. Sleeping in bed with my people is a must!
