Meet Alaska! This gorgeous boy is approximately 4 years old and weighs only 45 pounds. He found himself in a tough spot when he ended up at a high-kill shelter in Houston, Texas. Thankfully, he's heartworm negative and is learning all about the good life and what love feels like. Alaska is getting used to being around other dogs, but slow introductions are a must. His foster family has been working with him on the basics, like potty training and a few commands, and has even taught him not to growl at his siblings.
