Shorty is a handsome, funny, and loving 2- to 2.5-year-old Shepherd/Corgi mix who weighs 35 pounds. He has the best of both breeds, with adorable short legs and a longer body like a Corgi, paired with the beautiful coloring of a Shepherd. He was a favorite among shelter staff but found himself at risk due to overcrowding. Thankfully, he was rescued and has settled beautifully into his foster home. Shorty loves playing with his foster siblings and is a big fan of toys, especially his Chuck-it ball, which he entertains himself and others with. He enjoys his daily walks, greets everyone with a friendly wag, and loves exploring the backyard, soaking up the sunshine, or relaxing on a soft bed. Most of all, he'd love a family to cuddle with and call his own. Shorty is a smart boy who knows "sit," is house-trained, and crate-trained.
