ROCCO

Rocco is a 5-year-old, 49.70 lb, neutered male who finds himself with us after an owner surrender. His previous family's new home didn't allow dogs, and with no other options, they worked closely with our staff to safely and lovingly get him to us. To say this sweet boy is friendly, loving, and always happy would be an understatement. From the moment he arrived, he has been all smiles, and we want to help make sure he never loses that joy. Once a beloved family member, he’s ready to be one again — this time forever.

Ideal Home

Rocco absolutely adored children, from newborns to teens. He was also great with other dogs in his previous home and is very friendly meeting new canine friends here. We strongly recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children to ensure the best fit. He has no known experience with cats.

Ongoing Health

All adoptable dogs/puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives.

Training & Support

Rocco is completely housebroken. He can be bouncy, playful, and strong on leash, but it's only because he's excited. Remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to settle in, and 3 months to build trust.

Transporation

Rocco is at 430 Bristol Drive, Statesville. Adoption hours are Monday–Friday: 12–5pm and Saturday: 11am–2pm.
