Oreo is a one-year-old, 55-60 lb mystery mix with a heart full of love to give! He's a unique blend of American Staffordshire Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog, and American Pit Bull Terrier, with a dash of twelve other breeds. Found abandoned as a puppy, Oreo's sweet nature shines through, making him a social butterfly ready for his forever family. He's a car-ride enthusiast, a skilled snuggler, and even has a penchant for watching Clifford the Big Red Dog on TV. Despite his energetic "zoomie" spurts, he's surprisingly low-maintenance, happy to relax after a good walk or play session. He's also a house-trained pro and a delightful house guest.
Ideal Home
Oreo gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is incredibly sweet-natured. We recommend a home with children ages 10 and up, as he is still young and can sometimes jump up to greet people. While he hasn't met a cat yet, we're happy to test him with feline friends upon request.
Ongoing Health
Oreo is fully vetted and ready for his new home! His adoption includes a comprehensive health package: he is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella). He has been recently dewormed and is on consistent monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He will receive a health certificate and fecal exam within 10 days of travel.
Training & Support
Oreo is generally well-behaved, having shown no accidents indoors and understanding potty training. He has a funny quirk of putting his front paws in his water bowl while drinking, which adds to his charm!
