Meet Dozer, a sweet and independent 9-week-old puppy with a personality that's just right for a variety of homes! Dozer loves to play with his siblings and has plenty of puppy energy when he's romping around, but he's also perfectly happy to relax and take it easy. This makes him a wonderful fit for a home looking for a companion with a moderate to lower energy level. He's curious, playful, and enjoys his toys. Dozer has been raised with children and does well with them, though his calm demeanor might be especially appreciated by older children who enjoy a more relaxed pace. He also gets along well with other puppies and would likely enjoy the company of another friendly dog in the home.
Ideal Home
Dozer would thrive in a home that appreciates his independent spirit and enjoys both playtime and quiet relaxation. While he's good with children, his laid-back personality may make him particularly well-suited for a home with older children. A home where someone is present more often than not would be ideal, as puppies under 6 months shouldn't be left alone for extended periods.
Ongoing Health
Dozer is a young puppy, and as such, is still learning the basics. He is currently working on potty training and is kept in a puppy pen when unsupervised. Adopters will be responsible for continuing his potty training and basic obedience. Puppies under 6 months are adopted on a spay/neuter contract, and adopters will be responsible for having them altered when age-appropriate.
Training & Support
Dozer is a typical puppy who is still learning the ropes. He will need a family committed to teaching him all the basics as he grows, including continued potty training and socialization.

- For puppies this age, someone needs to be home more than they are away as crating them for long periods of time is not conducive for their developmental needs. If you work outside of the home longer than 4 hours, please explain who will be available to spend time with this puppy while you are away. If that information is not included, we will not consider your application.
- Puppies under 6 months are adopted on a spay/neuter contract.
Transporation
Dozer is currently in our care and is available for transport to approved adopters. Transports run every few weeks.
