Carbon is a 78-pound bundle of love who truly believes he's a lap dog! He has an incredibly gentle nature and showers everyone he meets with affection, making them feel like the most important person in the world. Carbon is a Husky and Pitty mix with a soft, charcoal-black coat and sweet, honey-colored eyes. He's happy to be your shadow, whether you're working from home or just relaxing, and he loves to be close to his favorite people. When he's not cuddling, Carbon enjoys playing with toys, especially stuffed animals, and romping with his foster siblings. He's an excellent dog-friendly companion, getting along wonderfully with all the dogs in his foster home. While his interactions with cats are still a mystery, his easygoing personality makes us hopeful he could share his home with a feline friend.
Ideal Home
Carbon dreams of a home where he can be connected to his people. A fenced yard would be a bonus for playtime, but his happiness truly depends on the people in the home, not the size of the house. He's looking for someone to share his life with, fill his days with affection, and welcome his unconditional love.
Ongoing Health
Carbon's foster family had him DNA tested. He is up-to-date on all his vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test, and a microchip.
Training & Support
Carbon is a social and respectful dog who is fostered with other dogs. He's happy to be part of your day and enjoys quiet companionship.

Transporation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Carbon can be transported to drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters through a private Facebook event page.
