Hi there! I'm Curly, a 14-month-old Wirehaired Terrier mix who weighs about 13 pounds. When I first meet new people, I can be a little shy and get nervous around young children. I just need a little extra time, patience, and understanding to feel safe and build trust. But once I do? Oh boy, you'll be showered with love! I have a heart that's much bigger than my body, and I don't think there's such a thing as too much affection. I absolutely love to play with other dogs; running, chasing, wrestling, and exploring with my canine pals makes my world brighter. But what I love even more is my people! You'll usually find me curled up beside you, on your lap, leaning against your leg, or following you from room to room. Being close to the ones I love is my favorite thing in the world. The feeling of your hand petting me, the warmth of sitting with you, knowing I'm safe and belong – that's everything. I also make happy little grumbles and soft noises when I'm content, like I can't contain all my happiness!
Ideal Home
My perfect home would have a family with lots of love to give, perhaps two or three humans, a comfy couch, some dog friends, and a backyard to explore. I need people who don't mind being loved completely and unconditionally because that's how I love – I don't hold back and give my whole heart when I trust. I can get nervous around young children.

I am neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Training & Support
I am house-trained and sleep nicely in my crate. I'm learning every day that the world is a safe place and good people exist. I just need a family willing to give me a little time to settle in and show them who I really am.

Transporation
I am currently in Southern California and will be traveling to my foster home in Ridgefield, Washington by the end of June. If my perfect family is in Vancouver, BC, I can make that trip too.
