Bonzo is a handsome 2.5-month-old German Shepherd mix with a classic black and tan coat and soft, warm coloring. He might be a little more reserved than his sister at first, but with a little time and patience, you'll watch him gently come out of his shell! Once he feels safe, his true personality shines through. He's affectionate, incredibly loving, and enjoys playing with his siblings, showing how adaptable and eager to learn he is. He has a natural herd mentality and loves to follow his siblings wherever they go, learning about the world through their lead. Bonzo is currently living with his siblings and a larger German Shepherd, doing well in that environment and building confidence by watching and learning from the other dogs. He's settling into a consistent schedule that includes regular feeding times, structured play, kennel time, and sleeping through the night, typically waking around 5:30 am for a potty break. What really makes him special is his cuddle side. Once he trusts you, he becomes a total snuggle bug, happily leaning into affection and soaking up every bit of love. He may not be the first to run up, but he's the one who will stay close once you've earned his trust. Like all puppies, he will need patience, consistency, and a gentle approach as he continues to grow. But for someone willing to give him that time, he'll return it with quiet loyalty, sweetness, and a deep connection. Ongoing Health
Bonzo has had all age-appropriate vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. He has also been tested for heartworms.
Training & Support
Bonzo is working on crate training, potty training, and leash walking. He will benefit from continued positive reinforcement and gentle guidance.
