Hi, I'm Nachito!
I might be a pint-sized pup, but I have a huge personality and a whole lot of feisty spirit! I'm super playful, incredibly friendly, and totally convinced I can conquer the world (or at least the living room). Even though I'm very small, I love to roughhouse, and I always seem to win!
My Daily Routine & Puppy Power - If you're looking for a sleepy couch potato, that's definitely not me just yet. I have tons of puppy energy! My absolute favorite daily activity is running back and forth, grabbing every toy I can find until I've successfully built a massive pile of treasure. I am currently almost too small to actually get onto the couch. Does that stop me? Absolutely not. I try repeatedly, and when I inevitably fall off backwards, I just shake it off and try again. My foster parents think it's hilarious because I am completely unbothered by my gravity checks. I love to wrestle and chase! If there's another pup around, we will chase each other all over the place. I like to let out these little play growls that sound super "vicious," but it's all in good fun-it just looks adorable coming from a guy my size.
How I Show My Love - I am a total ham when it comes to affection. When I want your attention, I will leap right up onto you and lick your entire face, maybe offering a few sweet puppy nibbles to show you I care. Because I'm a young guy with places to go and toys to move, "relaxing" isn't really my thing yet. However, there is a secret trick: if you hold me like a baby, I will finally stay still and melt into your arms for some quiet cuddle time.
Ideal Home
I am super friendly and absolutely adore visitors. Bring on the crowd, because I love being the center of attention! I can be a little nervous at first around new dogs. My go-to move is to lay down and act a bit hesitant. But don't worry, it doesn't take me long at all to warm up, and once I do, I'm instantly ready to play.
Ongoing Health
Rescue puppies are notorious for losing their birth certificates before entering our rescue. We cannot guarantee the breed or size they will be full grown.
Training & Support
I'm still a young pup, so I'm a work in progress, but I'm a fast learner! I do pretty well spending time in my crate and settling down. I've already started learning how to "come" when you call my name! I'm still working on mastering potty training, so I will need a patient family who can keep me on a good routine.
