Bear

Bear is a charming little guy, born on July 7, 2022, and weighing in at 13 pounds. He's a delightful mix, with mom being a Chipin and dad a Min Pin, resulting in a unique 75% Min Pin and 25% Chihuahua blend. Bear and his littermates came to us when their owner/breeder surrendered them. We made sure their mom and a previous littermate were spayed and vaccinated, and their tails were docked by the owner/breeder before they came into rescue.

Ideal Home

Bear would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard, as he is not yet leash trained and needs a safe space for potty breaks. Please note, homes with doggie doors are not a good fit for Bear.

Ongoing Health

Bear is up-to-date on all his vaccinations, deworming, and flea prevention. He is neutered and microchipped with a lifetime registration. He tested heartworm negative in October 2025 and is on monthly heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Bear is not yet leash trained and will need continued guidance and patience in a securely fenced yard for his potty needs.
