Penny Bun Mushroom is approximately seven months old and may be a Pit Bull/German Shepherd mix, though her exact breed makeup is unknown as she is a rescue puppy. She is a very sweet, affectionate, and attentive dog who loves people and shows surprising poise for her age, even exhibiting lovely leash manners. Penny Bun is known for her deep affection for stuffed toys, carrying them with her as comfort objects. She is also a well-behaved and social dog with other dogs, showing respect and adaptability during play. She has demonstrated gentle and calm behavior around cats and children, making her a potentially good fit for a variety of home environments, including apartments with adequate enrichment.

Penny Bun has received all necessary vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworms.

Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
