Muffy is a gentle six-and-a-half-year-old Chow Chow with a golden coat and an old soul. She's a medium-sized beauty, weighing around 50 pounds, and is looking for a loving home after her devoted pet parent passed away. Muffy has a quiet charm and prefers to observe her surroundings before fully opening her heart. Once she trusts you, she's a deeply loyal companion who enjoys offering high-fives, twirling with grace, and becoming your biggest fan. She knows impressive tricks like "spin," "wave," and "heel." While she can be shy with new people, Muffy has the heart of a loyal guardian and needs time, patience, and a calm environment to truly blossom. She's house-trained, spayed, vaccinated, and well-behaved indoors. Muffy is also quite independent and doesn't mind being left alone for short periods. She loves her daily Greenie and enjoys being brushed.
Ideal Home
Muffy thrives in a quiet, cat-free home with one or two experienced adults who understand her need for routine, space, and gentle encouragement. She is not a fan of fast-moving chaos or surprise greetings from strangers, so children and busy households are not the right fit. A laid-back canine sibling might be considered, provided proper introductions are handled slowly and respectfully.
