About Ivy

Ivy is a beautiful 1-year-old Redbone Hound/Labrador Retriever mix, weighing around 50 pounds. She's a loving, smart, and easygoing girl with a heart as big as her smile. Ivy adores people and always greets them with a wagging tail and a paw shake, eager to soak up affection. She's also fantastic with other dogs, displaying a gentle and friendly nature that makes her a joy to be around. Ivy's calm demeanor has even had a positive effect on other dogs, including one who typically doesn't like other canines. She walks beautifully on a leash, exhibits excellent manners at home and in public, and adjusts easily to new situations. Whether you're looking for a companion for quiet evenings or outdoor adventures, Ivy is happy to be by your side. Sadly, Ivy found herself in a high-kill shelter through no fault of her own. Her sweet temperament quickly made her a favorite, and now she's ready for the happy ending she deserves with a loving forever family.

Ideal Home

Ivy thrives in a home with an adequately and fully fenced yard. Electric or underground fences are not accepted.

Ongoing Health

Ivy is fully vetted, spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and on heartworm and flea prevention.

Training & Support

Ivy has excellent manners at home and in public. She is a well-mannered dog who adjusts easily to new situations.
