I’ve been told I’m just about as lovely as they come. Heck, I'm just gonna say it. I'm beautiful, both on the inside and out. My eyes simply glow and shimmer in the light. And I've got a gorgeous body that shows off how athletic I am. I'm Leia, and I am old enough to know how to be a wonderful companion, but young enough for daily adventures and plenty of playtime. I'm super sweet, and I love everyone I meet. I'm friendly, and I love attention. I'm house trained (I'll bark to let you know I need to go outside) and kennel trained (I'm calm and quiet) as well. I know how to enjoy a good walk by your side without pulling you every which way, and I take my time noticing all the little things along the path. If you’re looking for a calm, steady presence who’s just happy to be with you, you might have just found her.
If you’ve got a ball, you’ve got my full attention. I can chase and chase and chase some more, and I don’t seem to get tired of it. There’s just something about a good game of fetch that makes my heart so happy. I’d love to share that joy with you! And another thing to know - I love car rides! Maybe we could go together for a pup cup sometime? Oh, and I know how to do a "sit" and "down", too!
When it’s time to wind down for the day, that’s where I really shine. Cuddles are one of my specialties. I’m gentle, affectionate, and more than happy to curl up beside you and make everything feel a little cozier. I’m especially good with kids—little ones, bigger ones, it doesn’t matter. If they’re up for some snuggles, I’m right there with them, patiently soaking up all the love.
I should mention that I can be a bit particular when it comes to my doggie friends. I lived with another doggie, and we played all the time. But we had a chance to get to know one another before living together. I’d really appreciate the chance to meet any potential four-legged siblings before heading home, just to make sure we’ll all be happy together.
Ideal Home
I’m really hoping for a home where I can be your steady companion, your walking buddy, your fetch partner, and your cuddle expert all rolled into one. I'd appreciate a fenced-in backyard, a big couch for snuggling - and plenty of humans to snuggle with - and maybe a chew toy or two. Oh, and ice cubes from that ice cube machine in the kitchen. If you drop one, don't worry, I'll take care of it!
