Darla is a charming Rottweiler mix, born in June 2025 and weighing around 88 lbs. She arrived at MARL as a stray and, despite an initial shyness, quickly reveals a goofy, wiggly, and utterly delightful personality. Darla has a heart of gold and truly shines once she feels comfortable. She loves being around people, enjoys the company of other dogs, and is happiest when included in family activities. Whether it's a cozy cuddle session on the couch or an exciting adventure, Darla is ready to be by your side. She's a perfect blend of active and affectionate, with a tail that seems to have a permanent wiggle and a contagious joyful spirit. Darla is still growing into her confidence and will blossom with a family offering patience, encouragement, and love. In return, she promises to be a loyal companion, a cuddle buddy, and a best friend who will bring smiles every day.

Ideal Home

Darla thrives in a home where she can be included in daily activities. She enjoys the company of other dogs, but interactions with cats are a no. Her experience with children is unknown, so a family prepared to help her adjust would be ideal.
