Hey there! My name is Clyde, and I'm currently living my very own fairy tale-though my "swamp" is actually a cozy foster home!
The great philosopher Shrek once said: "Layers. Onions have layers. Ogres have layers." Well, Clydes have layers, too. You get it?
The Outer Layer: At first glance, I'm a shy 32 lb shepherd mix (neutered and ready for adventure). I'm a bit reserved while I figure out if you're a friend or a Lord Farquaad.
The Middle Layer: Peel that back and you'll find a sweet boy without a mean bone in his body. I'm just a goofy, playful guy who loves a good wrestle with a stuffy or a royal chew session with a Nyla-bone.
The Core: This is my true self-a fun-loving, sweet-hearted soul who is eager to trust and love again.
I'm a big fan of my fellow "donkeys" and "dragons"-I live with a hefty 70 lb brother and a 20 lb sister, and we get along swimmingly. I'm also a professional foot-warmer; I love sleeping on my "Pawster Mahm's" feet and giving her kisses to let her know she's the fairest in the land.
I'm currently fine-tuning my house training, and I'm this close to graduating! (Just remember, even a hero has a few accidents while acclimating to a new kingdom).
Ideal Home
I need a patient, calm, and steady home with some canine siblings to show me the ropes. I might navigate the world a bit differently than some, but I'm great at following the lead of my pack. If you have a spot in your heart for a "happily ever after," I'm ready to leave the swamp behind and join your family!
