Georgie Smiles is a handsome pittie mix, approximately 6.5 years old and weighing around 45 lbs, with a smile that's sure to brighten your day! He's a rescue, so while we believe in his age and breed, we can't guarantee them. Georgie is the epitome of a happy-go-lucky dog who adores people and is always ready for an adventure. He's intelligent, loyal, and loves to be the center of attention. He's happy to snuggle up with you or entertain himself with his favorite toys.
Ideal Home
Georgie would thrive in a home with older children, ideally 13 and up, who are comfortable with a larger, wiggly dog. He would also love a home with a backyard for zoomies, playing, and sunbathing. While he's friendly with other dogs and tolerant of younger, playful pups, Georgie would be happiest as your one and only fur baby, soaking up all your love. He also enjoys biking and would be a great companion for rides.
Ongoing Health
Georgie is a healthy boy. His adoption fee covers all necessary vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and a microchip.
Training & Support
Georgie is a treat-motivated learner and already knows how to sit! He has excellent house manners, is crate trained, and is potty trained. He responds well to his name and will come right to your side. He would benefit from an adopter who can provide structure, leadership, and companionship.

Transportation
Georgie is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
