Meet Macaroon, a delightful 4-year-old, 55-pound Lab/Terrier mix with a stunning brindle coat and captivating amber/brown eyes. Macaroon is a true survivor, having been rescued from a high-kill shelter in Houston. She's a resilient girl who's now ready to embark on a new chapter filled with love and happiness. Having passed her puppy phase, Macaroon is a well-mannered companion who is already house, leash, and crate trained. She's a social butterfly who adores people, greeting everyone with a joyful smile and a wagging tail. Macaroon is incredibly affectionate, loves to shower her humans with kisses, and is wonderfully treat-motivated – a simple "sit" command will earn you a happy performance for a tasty reward! In her foster home, she's proven to be a fantastic friend to other rescue pups, even helping shy dogs find their confidence. After some energetic playtime, Macaroon's favorite activity is to curl up on the couch for a long, peaceful nap. She's eagerly awaiting the day she can meet her forever family!
