Izzie

Izzie is a loving 5-year-old, 50-pound Boxer mix with an inspiring story of resilience. Found under a porch with her puppies, she was rescued and has since nurtured many dogs. Now she is ready for a forever family of her own.

Playful, affectionate, and people-loving, Izzie enjoys cuddles, attention, outdoor play, and relaxing in the cool air conditioning. She is eager to please and ready to continue learning with her new family.

Ideal Home

Izzie would love a family that will cherish her, provide affection, and give her opportunities to run and play outdoors. She gets along with dogs. Her compatibility with cats and young children is unknown.

Ongoing Health

Izzie is cured of Chagas and is currently negative for Chagas and heartworm. Prior to adoption, the rescue provides age-appropriate testing, vaccines, preventatives, spay/neuter surgery, and microchipping.

A puppy training class could help Izzie polish her basic commands. Her eagerness to please makes her a quick learner.
