Nader (Spayed)

Nader is a beautiful 4-year-old female American Staffordshire Terrier who came to us after being found as a stray in Marietta, Ohio. She has a sleek auburn/brown coat with white markings, amber eyes, and a sweet, friendly disposition. Nader loves attention and enjoys playing with toys, though she can be a bit rough with them! She's a full-figured girl, weighing in at 76.2 lbs, and walks fairly well on a leash. While she was initially fostered and planned for adoption, Nader was returned after an incident involving resource guarding a toy with a small puppy. She is also already spayed and received a rabies vaccination. Nader is sad when left alone and really misses having her own people.

Ideal Home

Nader would do best in a home where she can get plenty of attention and play with toys. Due to a past incident, she would likely be happiest in a home without small puppies.

Nader is already spayed and has received a rabies vaccination.

Training & Support

Nader has shown resource guarding behavior over toys. Continued positive reinforcement and clear communication about personal space and possessions will be beneficial.
