Big Mama

Big Mama is an affectionate, athletic, adventure-loving 3-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier mix who enjoys going on walks and meeting new people! She was found weighing over 70lbs but is now a healthier 60lbs. Big Mama was found in the middle of the road and, due to breed restrictions, was placed on the euthanasia list before we could get her to safety. She is incredibly people-friendly and loves to cuddle. While she's a couch potato indoors, she's ready for playtime once she's outside! She can be unaware of her size and likes to zoom around the yard.

Ideal Home

Big Mama would do best in a home with male dogs only, as she can be assertive with female dogs. She does not require a canine sibling to live her best life. Due to her energy level and size, a home without young children is ideal.

Ongoing Health

Big Mama is healthy and at a good weight.

Training & Support

Big Mama is potty and crate trained, knows sit and shake, is very smart, and is good on a leash.
