Meet Bogart – A Gentle Giant with a Heart of Gold
Bogart is a beautiful, loving boy who’s patiently waiting for his forever family. With his calm demeanor and affectionate nature, he’s the kind of dog who brings instant peace to any room he walks into. At first glance, some people overlook Bogart because of his large size — but don’t be fooled! He’s a true gentle giant. He walks politely on a leash, never jumps up on people, and is happy just to be near you. He’s as soft in spirit as he is big in body.
Bogart recently spent time in a short-term foster home with a sweet female dog named Dixie, where he did wonderfully — showing just how well he fits into a family with other pets. He also rides well in the car and will happily run or walk alongside a bike, making him a fantastic companion for outdoor adventures. He’s a natural with people of all ages. Bogart has participated in pet therapy visits with seniors, where his calm, comforting presence stole hearts. He’s also fantastic with children and would make a loving and loyal family dog. He gets along well with other dogs — even the ones who come on a little strong — and greets new friends with kindness and patience. One of his favorite things in the world? Forehead kisses. Give him a little smooch, and you'll have a best friend for life. If you're looking for a steady, affectionate companion who’s full of love and grace, Bogart is ready to be your gentle rock.
