Misty

Misty is a sweet 2-year-old, 55-pound Great Pyrenees mix with a gentle soul and a fluffy coat. She's a bit shy at first but warms up quickly, becoming incredibly affectionate once she trusts you. Misty is known to be a polite companion to cats and friendly with other dogs, making her a wonderful addition to a multi-pet household. She would likely do best with children who are past their toddler years.

Ideal Home

Misty would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, which is a non-negotiable requirement. She's looking for a family who appreciates a calm demeanor and can offer her the kindness, patience, and time she needs to truly bloom. A comfy spot on the sofa for naps would be a delightful bonus!

Ongoing Health

Misty has a mildly collapsing trachea. While this may sound concerning, it simply means she cannot be walked on a leash using a collar. A chest harness is a must for her safety and comfort throughout her life. With the correct harness, this condition is not an issue, aside from an occasional cough if the harness is not fitted properly.

Misty is a quiet girl who generally coexists peacefully. With a little time and understanding, she's sure to settle in wonderfully.
