Balto is a handsome 4-year-old Bernese Mountain dog mix who weighs a little over 60 lbs. He has a truly heartbreaking story, as his beloved owners were tragically lost in a plane crash. Despite his past trauma, Balto is a bundle of energy and a good dog. He has even worked with a professional trainer and is good on a leash. Balto doesn't like to be pulled on the leash and will yelp if he is pulled too hard. He had only one owner before and is looking for a loving home where he can feel safe and cherished again. Balto does exceptionally well in a fenced backyard and has never attempted to escape. He has the potential to be a wonderful companion for the right person or family. Please open your heart to Balto; he has been through so much and deserves a second chance at happiness.
