Phil

My name is Phil, but my foster mom sometimes calls me Philbert or No Filter Phil. I have the most adorable Gremlin ears that almost never go down! I was found on a bit of an adventure before coming to Save-A-Bull, and I'm so grateful for the love and care I've received. Now, it's time for me to find my forever family! I'm a smart cookie and a quick learner, especially when treats are involved. One of my favorite things to do is lean up against my favorite people to share the love!

Ideal Home

My ideal home would be with a family who can give me all the attention. I would do best as the only dog, but I do enjoy being with people and would love to be by your side. I enjoy lounging on comfy spots, watching the world go by, or cuddling up with my favorite humans. I'm also an excellent backseat driver, so road trips are a must!

Ongoing Health

I am a healthy boy and have no ongoing health concerns.

Training & Support

I am crate trained and sleep soundly in my comfy crate at night. I'm working on building my confidence and learning that my humans will always come back. I'm also mastering skills like "leave it" and "stay," and I'm great at boundary training and heeling. While I'm still figuring out how to play with toys, I've learned that squeaky toys are amusing. I'm potty trained and we're working on bell training. I am learning that asking permission by looking to my people is the way to live a good life. I love a stable routine, as it helps ease any anxiety. I'm not meant to be every dog's friend, but I'm sure there are some I'd like if given the time.
