Meet Gordo! He's a charming 1-year-old Jack Russell mix, weighing in at about 16 pounds. Gordo's journey to us began when a neighbor of his previous owner brought him in. While we're still getting acquainted, it's clear that this little guy has so much potential and an abundance of love to share.
Gordo can be a bit timid when meeting new people or experiencing unfamiliar situations. We suspect he might not have had extensive socialization early in life, which can make new things a little daunting for him. Because of this, he'll thrive with a patient adopter who understands the importance of letting him set his own pace. Slow introductions, gentle handling, and plenty of reassurance will help him build confidence and trust. With time, consistency, and lots of TLC, Gordo is sure to blossom into a wonderful companion. Beneath his shy exterior is a sweet dog who simply needs someone willing to show him that the world isn't so scary.
Gordo arrived with his bonded companion, Blanca, and they share a very special connection. We would love to see them adopted together! They offer each other comfort and security, and keeping them together will greatly ease their transition into a new home.
Ideal Home
Gordo and Blanca would do best in a calm home with a patient heart, and enough room for two deserving dogs.
Ongoing Health
Gordo is neutered and vaccinated.
Training & Support
