Baldur is a loving, playful, affectionate 3-year-old Chow mix with beautifully soft, silky fur and a heart full of sunshine. He is a snuggle enthusiast, loves couch time, and thrives on being close to his people. The name Baldur originates from Old Norse and means “prince,” “brave warrior,” or “bold.” It’s also the name of a Norse god associated with light, beauty, and happiness—and this boy lives up to it!

Ideal Home

Baldur loves other dogs and would thrive as a playful dog brother, especially with a friendly pup who enjoys zoomies, chase, and tug-of-war. He does well with both male and female dogs but does not enjoy dominant or bossy personalities. He would do well in a home with children over the age of 5.

Training & Support

Baldur LOVES treats—like, really loves them—so he’s working on polite treat-taking and self-control. He’s affectionate and enjoys giving hugs and kisses, but will sit and wait nicely when reminded. Baldur has a soft, silky coat that benefits from regular brushing to keep him clean and comfortable. He does not require professional grooming.
