Riley AKA Harry

Riley, a handsome male adult Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix, is ready to find his forever home! This resilient boy has a truly remarkable backstory. In 2018, he and his siblings were found abandoned in a bucket, suffering from severe chemical burns. Riley, the smallest, endured extensive emergency vet care, including time in an oxygen tank and IV fluids, and even had a seizure. Miraculously, he survived and, after recovering, was renamed Riley and adopted. Sadly, six years later, his family faced a tragedy, and Riley found himself back in need of a loving home.

He's currently with a foster family and, while a little shy and sad about the transition, he's doing wonderfully and loves playing with their four large-breed dogs! Riley grew up around children and dogs of all sizes and gets along great with both.

Ideal Home

Riley would thrive in a home with at least one other friendly, playful dog to keep him company.

Ongoing Health

Riley has a history of chemical burns and a seizure. He has recovered and is doing well, but it's important to be aware of his past medical challenges.

Training & Support

Riley is a bit shy and sad about his recent life change, but he's showing his playful and energetic side with his foster siblings. Continued positive reinforcement and patience will help him settle in and feel secure.
