Suit up, brave hearts—Paladin reporting for duty! I'm a 1.5-year-old, 45-pound Border Collie mix boy, on a quest for love, adventure, and lots of belly rubs. I have the brains and the bravery, and I'm pretty sure I'm a lap dog who loves to cuddle when evening rolls around. I'll also patiently wait if you are drying my feet off after a yard romp. I've graduated my intermediate training class and would love to continue my training in my forever home. I'm playful, sweet, and always ready for a game, a cuddle, or a new challenge.
Ideal Home
I'll need a house setting with a fenced yard. I'm too high-energy for an apartment and I think chasing and barking at my herding ball should be an Olympic sport! I would do best with an active family who loves adventures like hiking or running. I get along with older, sturdy kids (but may knock little ones over), and dogs (with proper introductions and acclimation). I would also be fine as your one-and-only. Since I am a herding dog, it would be best if my adopter is familiar with my breed!
Ongoing Health
My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip.
Training & Support
I'm house, crate, and leash trained, and I just graduated my intermediate training class! As a reminder, young dogs need lots of time and attention. Before adopting me, please make sure that you have enough time, energy, and commitment to devote to my training. Everyone in your household should be on board and ready to help out.
