Hi, I'm Wonton! I'm a darling Staffy looking for love and a partner to join me on my weight loss journey, take long leisurely walks, and watch late-night movies on the couch. My foster mom calls me a "sweet little sausage," and we are working on making me less sausage-like. Luckily, I adore going on walks, so that shouldn't be too difficult! I get super excited when you pull that leash out. As a Staffy, you can be sure I know how to make the best pig noises, and boy, can I snore! I love dogs; I like to briefly play with the other Pitbull in the house, and then we snuggle on the couch. I even respect the grumpy senior Chihuahua who lives here. I also like kitties and, except for squirrels, I don't seem to have a high prey drive. I recently met a 5-year-old child and was very gentle with her. I'm basically a people person! When you look down at me, I will sit and gaze into your eyes, hoping for some snuggles, and if I get some, I make the cutest happy noises and scoot closer. I know "sit" and "down." The latter, to me, just seems like a pushup, and I'm not a huge fan. I am housetrained and kennel-trained, and at the moment, I'm told I behave well on a leash. Walks are my favorite, and I almost never pull. If you've been looking for a hippo to make your home whole, I might be the one!
